MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. - With the Wednesday sun high above Maryland Heights, Ameren crews geared up and climbed up in an effort to brush up on their skills.This weekend, Ameren crews from the St. Louis area will participate in the 39th annual International Lineman’s Rodeo in Overland Park, Kansas.“This is a really great event for our skilled craft co-workers to get out and showcase their talents,” said Jon Shockley, Senior Manager of Electric Training for Ameren Missouri. Monthly $500 payments coming soon for some St. Louis families Shockley says this weekend’s event, billed as the “Lineman Olympics," brings together the most talented line workers from utilities around the world. The Broncos on Wednesday finalized a change in their designated controlling owner from Rob Walton to CEO Greg Penner, the team confirmed to The Post.The move became official Wednesday when the NFL’s finance committee reviewed the details of the change and gave it unanimous support, a league source confirmed.Nothing about the club’s day-to-day organizational structure or duties changes in making Penner, Walton’s son-in-law, the controlling owner. Somebody broke into the crypt in a private mausoleum at Crown Hill Cemetery in Jefferson County overnight, pried open a coffin and stole portions of the body contained inside it, authorities said Wednesday.Jefferson County sheriff’s officials said deputies were dispatched to the cemetery, at 7777 W. 29th Ave., at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday on a report of damage to a mausoleum. Public health officials in Los Angeles County are asking for help identifying a patient who was badly injured in San Pedro earlier this week.The patient, an Asian male in his mid-20s, was found in the 3700 block of South Meyler Street -a residential area near Wilders Addition Park- on Monday after sustaining a traumatic brain injury, according to L.A. County Health Services.The cause of his injury was not released.He was found with a black backpack, a wallet containing Japanese currency, and several travel-size personal hygiene items, officials said.
