Temperatures will stay in the 50s today, making the only knock on today’s forecast the wind! It’s not bad this morning, but once the sun comes up and can mix up the atmosphere a bit, we’ll end up seeing wind gusts over 30 mph for much of the midday and afternoon hours.April is statistically our second windiest month (behind March) so this wind is somewhat expected this time of year. When Cedric Mullins first found himself among baseball’s best players at the 2021 All-Star Game, hardly any of them wanted to talk with him about the Orioles. But as Mullins played for the United States in last month’s World Baseball Classic, he noticed a change in tone from the country’s stars, with a fascination and curiosity around what’s brewing in Baltimore.“We’re confident in this group of guys,” the Orioles’ center fielder said, “and people are aware of that.”In Mullins’ breakout 2021 season, the Orioles tied for baseball’s worst record, their fourth straight bottom-five finish. Israel also continued bombarding the Gaza Strip.Just hours later, during a brief lull in hostilities on Israel’s northern and southern borders, an alleged Palestinian shooting attack near an Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank killed two women in their 20s and critically wounded another 45-year-old, Israeli medics said.
