When the Vikings travel to play the Lions on Sunday afternoon at Ford Field in Detroit, they will be playing for pride in the short term, while also trying to send a message in the long term.Even if the Vikings no longer have much to play for at this point — the New York Times simulator gives them a 3 percent chance of making the playoffs — it’s imperative they bounce back from last week’s embarrassing 33-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium. To put forth that performance in such an important game was unacceptable. The way that Detroit star receiver Amon Ra St. Brown dominated the game on Christmas Eve was palpable. He finished with 12 receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown. It could be much of the same this weekend if the Vikings aren’t careful.Keys for the Lions— ThereR...Snow Emergency declared by the City of Amsterdam
