HOPKINTON, Mass. (AP) — The fastest and most-decorated elite field ever to assemble in Hopkinton is getting ready to cross the start line for the 127th Boston Marathon on Monday.The group includes world record holders, Olympic and Paralympic medalists, winners of major marathons from 27 countries and a dozen Boston Marathon champions, according to the Boston Athletic Association, which administers the prestigious race. World record-holder Eliud Kipchoge is making his Boston Marathon debut.On Saturday, the city marked the 10-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing. The 2013 race was interrupted when two backpack bombs exploded on Boylston Street, steps from the finish line.About 30,000 athletes will run 26.2 miles (42.2 kilometers) to Copley Square in Boston. ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) -- Round Rock city council approved a project to repave several streets in the downtown area, many of which have not been resurfaced in over a decade. The project, valued at $3,543,440, will be completed by Bennett Paving, and the city is estimating it will take about 45 days to complete. Gary Hudder, the city's transportation department director, said the city tries to complete a street resurfacing project once a year, and it felt now was the right time to do a large-scale project in the downtown area. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Average gasoline prices in Albany have risen 6.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.62/g Monday, according to GasBuddy's survey of 546 stations in Albany. Prices in Albany are 17.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 51.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. ST. LOUIS - We're learning more about an officer involved shooting and fire in west St. Louis that has left one man in the hospital. St. Louis Police are investigating an officer involved shooting that involved a swat team and a fire, police now share the suspect lit himself. The fire is now cleared, and the suspect is in the hospital.An initial investigation by police confirmed that officers responded to a domestic dispute around 11:20 p.m Sunday. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A funeral for a service member and St. Louis native is today. It's for Chief Warrant Officer Zachary Esparza - who was killed in last month's crash of two Black Hawk helicopters.He was among nine soldiers who died when the two helicopters collided outside fort Campbell, Kentucky on March 29, during a military training exercise. Zach was 36 years old and a 2005 graduate of Bayless High School.
