ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An actor from the iconic television series "The Munsters" showed up to a Halloween party in Albany on Tuesday. Butch Patrick, who played Eddie Munster, came to the party at the War Room Tavern on Eagle Street.The show only ran for two seasons from 1964 to 1966 but was adored by fans who watched reruns. ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schenectady County District Attorney's Office said it has received a guilty plea in connection to a fire at the Wagon Train BBQ restaurant in June. Eric Reed, 36, pleaded guilty to arson in the third degree. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Prosecutors said Reed entered a storage shed belonging to the restaurant early in the morning on June 4 and intentionally set a fire. The fire then spread to another storage shed and an electrical pole, which caused power outages in the area. No one was injured in the fire but the building was significantly damaged.Reed is scheduled to be sentenced in December. As the Santa Ana wind-driven fire in Riverside County continues to rage, prompting the evacuation of thousands of residents with thousands of others under evacuation warnings, the South Coast Air Quality Management District has issued a wildfire smoke advisory for the surrounding areas. The Highland Fire in Aguanga, a sparsely populated area east of Temecula, had consumed at least 2,487 acres of dry brush and trees and three structures. As of Tuesday evening, it was only 10% contained, according to Cal Fire. Another six structures have been damaged. The fire erupted just after noon on Monday near Highlands and Aguanga Ranchos roads and spread rapidly in the hot and dry desert winds.Some 1,300 homes have been evacuated as a result of the fire. A man was arrested for allegedly stealing $4 million dollars worth of computers in San Bernardino County on Monday.The suspect behind the operation was identified as Julio Vieyra, 53, from La Puente, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.Officers first received information regarding the theft of Lenovo computers from the Los Angeles area. Street vendors may soon be allowed on Hollywood Walk of Fame if the L.A. City Council can get through the approval process.An initial motion presented by Councilmembers Hugo Soto-Martinez and President Paul Krekorian passed the council on Oct. 20 and will be heard by the Civil Rights and Public Works Committee, before being introduced for public comment.“For years, a No-Street-Vending Zone on Hollywood Boulevard has targeted immigrant entrepreneurs who work so hard to provide for their families,” Soto-Martinez said.”As the son of street vendors, I know firsthand how these entrepreneurs are the ultimate small business owners in LA, contributing so much cultural vibrancy to our city.”The current ban on Hollywood Boulevard means vendors that are currently seen on the Walk of Fame risk fines and having their merchandise or food taken away.
