There is still a bit of uncertainty of the track of the Wednesday system. If it stays offshore a bit more than projected we will see lower rain totals. But if it moves ashore or very close to the coast, I expect we'll see significant rain from it." Bay Area holiday we...Bay Area rain totals: Storm expected to hit in waves

U.S. food inspectors found “extremely high” levels of lead in cinnamon at a plant in Ecuador that made applesauce pouches tainted with the metal, the Food and Drug Administration said Monday. The recalled pouches have been linked to dozens of illnesses in U.S. kids. Cinnamon tested from the plant had lead levels more than 2,000 times higher than a maximum level proposed by the FDA, officials said. The samples came from ground or powdered cinnamon from Negasmart, an Ecuadorian company that supplied the spice to Austrofoods, which made the pouches. The applesauce pouches were sold under three brands — WanaBana, Schnucks and Weis. Officials with Austrofoods did not respond to requests for comment about the investigation. FDA said lead has not been detected in WanaBana products made without cinnamon and sold in the U.S. The agency continues to investigate how the cinnamon was contaminated. No, not at all.”The Broncos’ path to the playoffs — where they haven’t been in eight years — grew much more arduous over the weekend when they lost and the Bengals, Colts, Texans and Bills all won to get to 8-6. Also, the Chiefs and Browns both improved to 9-5.Denver left itself without any wiggle room over the final three weeks, when the Broncos will face the Patriots (3-11) and the Chargers (5-9) at home and the Raiders (6-8) on the road.“It’s gonna take three wins,” Payton said.P...Jonathan Majors dropped from all upcoming Marvel projects following misdemeanor assault conviction, source tells AP
