U.S. women’s national team coach Vlatko Andonovski has resigned, a person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press on Wednesday.The move comes less than two weeks after the Americans were knocked out of the Women’s World Cup earlier than ever before.The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the move had not been officially announced.The four-time tournament champions struggled throughout this World Cup. A victory over Vietnam to kick off the group stage was followed by a pair of draws against Netherlands and Portugal — barely enough to get the team into the knockout stage,The Americans played well in the Round of 16 against Sweden, but ultimately fell on penalties after a scoreless tie. (KRON) -- A brush fire burning in the South Bay Wednesday afternoon is impacting traffic, according to a 511 alert. Cal Fire's Santa Clara Unit said the fire has torched 30 acres. The fire is near northbound US-101, north of Cochrane Road in Morgan Hill. The right lane of northbound traffic is blocked. It has been named the Cochrane Fire. Drivers are told to expect delays and avoid the area. There is no estimated time for the roadway to reopen. This is a developing story. ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Los Angeles Angels left-hander Reid Detmers hasn’t allowed a hit through six innings Wednesday night against the AL West-leading Texas Rangers.The 24-year-old Detmers threw a no-hitter as a rookie for the Angels last season against Tampa Bay. He was only the second Angels rookie to do so. Detmers, who was 0-4 in his previous six starts coming into the game, had five strikeouts and two walks through six innings. DENVER (KDVR) — A certain type of vehicle seems to be the latest target in a growing number of auto thefts out of Denver International Airport, and it's not a Kia or Hyundai.Ford F-Series trucks actually top the list of the most-stolen vehicles at the airport, according to data from the Colorado Auto Theft Prevention Authority. And it's not just one kind — three models take the top three spots. The themes that inspired dozens of Denver street names Ford F-150 trucks are now ranked the number one vehicle for thefts within a 7-mile radius of DIA between January-July of this year.
