DENVER (KDVR) -- Along with the new season comes new uniforms for the Denver Nuggets. The team left a special spot for the Mile High City this year.The Nuggets tweeted the new uniforms on Thursday morning. The uniform stays mostly navy, but the front of the jersey features "5280" across the chest. DENVER (KDVR) -- A new place for travelers at Denver International Airport to take a break will be opening this week after two years of fanfare.The Plaza Premium Lounge was announced in partnership with Capital One in 2021 and scheduled for opening the following year, but it's finally opening just in time for the 2023 holiday season. DENVER (KDVR) -- Jefferson County Public Schools announced that there were "alarming" emails received Tuesday by staff members.According to the district's statement, the Information Technology team is working with cybersecurity experts and law enforcement to investigate the credibility and scope of an attack. The district said there is no concern related to physical safety.Jeffco Public Schools Chief Information Officer Jill Ibeck shared precautionary measures the district employees were required to take, including updating all passwords and educating students about digital citizenship and the importance of strong passwords that are regularly changed. Zoo Miami’s adult male Sumatran tiger, “Berani,” is currently in serious condition, with concerns raised by the Animal Science and Animal Health teams due to his recent loss of appetite and lethargy.According to officials with Zoo Miami, Berani was transported to the zoo’s Animal Hospital after being immobilized Wednesday for a series of exams to determine the cause of his abnormal behavior. A pair of Plantation parents are in custody after their 13-year-old daughter reported severe physical abuse stemming from a misunderstanding over nail expenses. The incident unfolded on Tuesday, and Plantation Police officers responded to Imagine Charter School at 8200 Peters Rd the next day, where the victim shared the troubling events with a school administrator. According to the police report, the trouble began when the daughter, whose identity is protected, mistakenly overspent on nail services, leading to an angry exchange of text messages with her mother, Fania Pereira. In those messages, Fania threatened the child with “5 beltings.”Things took a dark turn when Fania picked up her daughter from a nail salon.
